Ministries

We offer many ministries. Please join us!

For information on any of our minitries, please see the church contact information at the bottom of the page.  Thank you and God Bless!

Daughters of the King

The Daughters of the King is a national order of women who are communicants of the Episcopal Church devoted to prayer, service, evangelism, and the strengthening of the spiritual life of the parish.  As a Daughter of the King, the focus is to pray in confidence for those in need, serve Christ with the gifts he has given us, and share our faith with others.

St. Christopher’s DOK Chapter is the Mary Martha chapter.  The DOK are active within the church maintaining the prayer list, conducting receptions for special services, and other activities of benefit to the congregation.

Vintage Hearts

Vintage Hearts is an adult fellowship group that enjoys getting together for fellowship and games. This is open to all adults, regardless of age or marital status. The members range in age from their early 20’s to the late centurions.

The group gathers once a month for food, fun, fellowship, and conversation at a number of different venues including members’ homes or the church. Normally the group meets the third Saturday evening of each month at 6pm. Please note, however, childcare is not available for this group.

Men’s Prayer Breakfast

The Men’s Prayer Breakfast meets in the Parish Hall every second and fourth Saturday of each month. At 8:00 am, the group enjoys a hearty breakfast and then studies the scripture…all in an hour! All men are welcome! Attendees range from those in their twenties to those in their eighties.

Eat…Pray…to start your day.

Prayer Shawl Ministry

We no longer meet as a group, but knitters and crocheters can make prayer shawls at home for the church.

Do you knit or crochet, or want to learn? If so, please feel free to join the ministry. If you are interested in joining the group, contact the church office. (We also take yarn donations.)

“Lunch Bunch” Bible study

The “Lunch Bunch” Bible study is a bible study group that meets on Wednesdays at noon. Participants can bring their lunch and eat while studying a book of the bible. The group has lively and thought-provoking discussions about each book studied. Sometimes the group will read the Psalms or study the history of the church. Anyone is welcome to join.
